from a perfectly practical standpoint FFXIV doesn't actually have to worry about cahntent or even its own profitability until they're at, like, 20% of the current player/sub count

everybody's just doing as yoshida asks, unsub if there's nothing that interests you or you want to go play other games, problem being everybody is still trying to talk about it in terms of FFXIV being their plugged-in terminally online "forever game" which isn't healthy
