I don't understand burst bombs. Definitely not on the two new kits (SShot and Jet).
I think I read that it's supposed to synergize with your main, but I don't see how.
For Jet, yeah it turns it from 4- to 2-shot (so saving one action), but with the main outranging the sub by so much it seems very rare when it's better than just landing those two extra shots without sacrificing distance.
For SShot it's even worse, you only go from 3-shot to 2-shot so same number of actions.
But I also feel that ttk with burst bomb is the same, if not longer, due to delay before you can start shooting again. And I find that throwing bomb messes up my accuracy for the main because of controller movement.
Both splat and succ bombs are powerful tools with many applications, burst bombs just feel like weakness and liability to me. Am I missing something? Or are those two just bad kits?
