yes something that is always forgotten by people is that the game gets really boring and dry after the first 3 or so levels and then has the worse ending of the two games. system shock 1 remains fresh and engaging throughout mostly because it allows some soft sequence breaking and a lot of intel skipping whereas system shock 2 forces you down the same linear sequence of scares the whole time, this is one of many reasons i find system shock 1 superior.
