Why do people complain about this show not being "Christian-adjacent" when it was never meant to be that way in the first place? Did anyone really think it was meant to be taken seriously when:
>Heaven doesn't know how souls get up in their own fucking realm
>Lucifer is a depressed daddy instead of the prideful rebel he is in his original myth
>Sinners gain demonic superpowers instead of getting tormented as they should be
>The Exorcists never target powerful demons like the Overlords, only powerless fodder
>Adam is a petty manchild who see exterminating demons as entertainment rather than a solemn duty to protect Heaven
>Heaven is fine letting random imps and hellhounds killing innocent humans on Earth
>Etc
You can't tell me you saw those things and STILL believed this shit was supposed to be based on Christianity.
