Just read up on lung transplants. Even in the best case scenario, you have to take immunosuppressive drugs daily, or the body starts to attack the foreign tissue within 3 days and in a weak your body heems the lungs. Grim.
Asskrin's lung debacle is LITERALLY, 100% ABSOLUTELY Herb Dean's fault. Not even memeing. If Herb would have not made the error of stopping the Robbie Lawler fight, or had restarted it instead, Askren would have lost the fight and Lawler would have fought Meng next. Askren would have stuck around being a can or journeyman and remained in the sport at least 4 more fights, maybe way more. If that happens, he would not have broken his rib like he did to puncture his lung and get staph. It just would not have happened. It IS Herb Dean's fault.
