I went to Target today for the first time in 5 years. Here's what I noticed:
>75% brown
>dirty walls
>dirty floors
>only one or two of the same items on the shelves
>no games in cases, just cardboard pictures behind plastic
>Switch 2 on display, screen busted
>empty starbucks cup in every other isle
>huge open air area with bags of shit (I assume online orders)
>garbage cans overflowing
I live in a small(ish) city in the midwest. People will live like this and unironically look me dead in the eyes and tell me that the past wasn't better, I was just young and not jaded.
