player counts online are either too low, too gay, too psychotic, or any combination of that. This problem is at its least prevalent at the slightly more popular end where street fighter and tekken live, but you are stuck playing street fighter or tekken (lmao) and it gets exponentially worse as you approach the discord fighter event horizon, where at its furthest end, the platonic ideal form of the discord fighter is a game that no longer has any players, because the community echo chambered itself so hard, everyone either left because shit was getting weird or drank the kool aid and died.
