They have no strategic depth. This is a nothingburger if you're Russia afraid of a 1941 invasion because that is what a nuke is for. If you are a tiny spit of land that has one Chinese caliber nuke smoking maybe 1/5th or so of your entire land (or well inhabited land, negev ignored) then it's a bit of a bigger fear. That said, the mistake is people buying rhetoric of corrupt oligarchs. This is just a situation where it is a big danger for Israel, too bad so sad, it's not my problem. We can handle a nuclear Iran like we handle north korea or Pakistan (or Saaristan) or China having nukes. They're the ones who face more, so I favor Vance's view that we're being pressured into a war on Israel's behalf.
