Then, you idioten, you need to start pumping out chaff like your life depends on it - because it DOES! Combine this with a hard defensive turn and rapid altitude changes. The missile will have to constantly recalculate its intercept point, which depletes its energy faster.
And if you're not already using your electronic warfare suite, what are you even DOING in that cockpit?! Turn it on and jam that missile's radar! Honestly, I can't believe I have to explain something this basic!
