But when The Knight whoops the shit out of Susie and Ralsei, he begins fighting harder. And Susie's the only one who's actually there for him even as his home life crumbles around him. You could justify Snowgrave with Kris foolishly plodding on because they think they can still fix things (as he tried to do), that he can make things better, and that the end result will be worth it. But it probably won't end up well for him.
