Let's say MICA wants to make enmity tank, meaning unit that get better on lower HP. They give her skill that increases her damage or damages enemy with equivalent/portion of her lost HP. Make her bulwark SG so she could survive and use it, but remember that this combination might be so tanky she will shine only on maps with elites and bosses as shit mobs might not be able to tear through SI. If you want her to take more damage, make her SMG/AR/Blade. You pair her with support increasing HP and fill 2-3 remaining slots with some AR with grenades for finishing enemies off, maybe RF to help with boss and healer or another support.
Let's say you want to make trap team which lures enemies into killbox. You take some combination of support and sentinel MGs for killbox and either SG, SMG or Blade bulwark depending on whether you want shields to prevent statuses that might immobilize you, survivability or movement/assassin to eliminate elite that might fuck pullin up. Add support or healer on top of that.
Let's say it's boss DPS check. You pick like 2 HG supports for maximum buffs/debuffs and fill the rest with either sentinel RFs, MGs or make something like support HG and fill the rest with support SMGs who will buff each other and barrage boss with action supports.
Want doll like Dayan? Make her AR scout.
Want offensive SG like Lotta? Make her sentinel SG.
Want Centaureissi? Support AR with heal skills.
Toned down 416 would fit AR scout just fine.

Just look at Dayan and Klukai in this model. Both are AR scouts. Except Klukai has more AoE and does corrosion while Daiyan is more on the supportish side with her SI shred and dispel.
You can go full support with support HG buffer for 3 stacks of buffs or give it niche in debuff/dispel/air support
