Ahh, I didn't realize this before- but it's very true.
I figure that's also why when I was among programmers aspiring to be game devs, everyone was so hesitant to share their work. (Unlike me.) Because it was too simple, and none of it felt meaningful to play. (At-least for a PC audience.)

The base quality of an RPG Maker game is indeed quite high.
