i like some country-ish stuff, but it's mostly occasional psychobilly/horror punk adjacent stuff. shouts out to nick 13 and tiger army...
hopefully you enjoy that album, i think it's a genuine masterpiece, total hidden gem. really, really helped me in some very weird times. might depend on your life experiences or openness to certain things though...

it's much less about things being sacred and much more about the proper time and place. like i said, that feeling of "why would you do this? i was really beginning to like you." is always at the forefront when it happens. it's just... weird to flip that switch from literally 0 to 100 out of nowhere, with no real warning and apropos of nothing preceding it.

i know better, it's fine. the brain does a fantastic job of ignoring or downplaying the bad parts of something after the fact, and i try to keep that in mind at all times. doesn't stop me from missing all the good though, just have to remind myself why i left in the first place.
