Yeah but that was pipe smoked natural tobacco, smoked ritualistically and prepared on that specific day, without cleaning substances, long-term preservation chemicals from filters and processing. Completely different thing. Now it's very clear that modern cigarettes can cause cancer.
Here's another thing that was advertised as being safe, but it wasn't because the effects took 10 years to manifest and they only studied it for like 1 year.
