bomberman does nothing for me. you don't feel attached to the bombers, and the game looks like a minigame you'd find included in the golden saucer of a larger game if you ask me.
meanwhile bombergirl is much more popular because the characters are expressive, and sexy (though it's mainly the latter considering the massive amount of gachafaggots). even the characters in the jetters anime showed more emotion and had personalities
