I teach middle schoolers, I have absolutely no fucking idea how anyone can find them attractive. Even ignoring protecting muh purity and shit, they’re just underdeveloped, vulnerable, and are both designed and conditioned to just go along with whatever you say. They aren’t fully fledged personalities, and anyone interested in taking advantage of that isn’t looking for a symbiotic partnership, as it is implicitly manipulative to try to connect with a child in any way as an adult. More than likely these attributes being “desirable” to someone would point to an antisocial or sociopathic disregard for the wellbeing of the people in their lives, which is part of why pedophilia is considered an objective evil. On another note, this is why anime will always be pedo coded, as the surreal lengths it has gone to make characters oblivious and childlike in appearance, voice, mannerisms, and script is uncanny, and can only really be consumed by people who lack social skills.
