Nintendo should've brought back analog triggers to make better use of them than the industry has before now and to give everyone else inspiration. To breathe new life in an input method everyone else takes for granted and that Nintendo gave up on way too fast for stupid reasons. Whereas you want Nintendo to be insulated hermits because otherwise that would imply they did anything wrong, and that very concept horrifies the absolute fuck out of you on an existential level. I want better from Nintendo, I want to be wowed, so if they're going to take a page out of everyone else's book to FUCK US OVER as customers, I goddamn well want them to take a page out of their books for standard FEATURES for us as well.
