You know what? Fuck this shit. The only reason I chicken scratch is because I'm drawing shapes I'm not 100% familiar with. I don't chicken scratch like that when drawing things I'm used to. The only difference between the two approaches is that in one I draw one line over the other while searching for the right one. And on the other, I'm just pressing ctrl z all the time until I get it right. In the end they are both the same thing. I just have to keep drawing and the chicken scratching will naturally stop as I get more confident.
