You aren’t blind to the influence these two empires wielded, you just didn’t care. You maneuvered wasteland politics without many direct interactions with either group. It makes you the ultimate wild-card, as the last thing either faction expects is a Securitron army from the rear led by someone they’ve only heard passing rumors about.

It was enough to make you smile, but you have bigger fish to fry. You decide to arrive at the battle the way you arrived in the Mojave, with a low profile. Equipping your Big MT Stealth Suit, you breach the outer defenses on the NCR side of the dam. The incessant droning of your suit’s AI faded out and your mind drifted to other things, particularly the others you encountered in the wasteland.

But the NCR and Caesar's Legion weren't the only powers with substantial influence in the Mojave. Early in your travels, you met the Brotherhood of Steel, a xenophobic and secretive group whose top priority was the hoarding of tech.

>I destroyed them by activating the self-destruct. Even a few Paladins surviving could hinder my plans, and clearing out enclosed bunkers is never good for my health.
>I worked my way in, eventually deposing Elder McNamara and installing Paladin Hardin as the new Elder, cementing his loyalty.
>After becoming a trusted confidant of Elder McNamara, I cemented an alliance between myself and his chapter. I may not have mentioned my use of the Securitrons, or Helios, or the dam for that matter. Oh yeah I never mentioned Big Empty either. I’m sure that won’t cause issues.

More similar than they would care to admit, the Boomers were even more xenophobic, choosing to hoard munitions instead of technology. Each group being a hyper lethal vector in their own right.

>I left them alone after nearly being blown up by their powerful artillery. A bunch of crazy isolations...
>They were too dangerous to be kept intact, that many munitions could come back and bite me in the ass.
>After surviving their barrage, I helped them anyway I could, gaining their trust and eventual support for the upcoming battle.
