I was on a really old version of 4chan x. You can now completely hide the hidden replies. Look for "Stubs" in 4chanx settings. Also since you're starting fresh its going to be an ongoing process of filtering things. Unless you get lucky and someone posts their filter. And remember, you can also filter out images. Most anons have very similar file names. Good luck anon.
