It's more that she reverted back into Powder off-screen. She chose to give up the things that Powder lost and become Jinx when she sat in the chair, but in season 2 she cares even more about her old family. And it's not even about being a different type of crazy, she just isn't even crazy at all anymore. Completely sane, reasonable, and good aligned for all of season 2 besides trying to kill herself maybe.
