I think Fuga still presents the technological aspects well, the machines are impressive but since it draws a lot from WW1/WW2 machinery it still feels a low-tech, even if some of the technology presented is actually pretty advanced, just for the scale and complexity if you think about it. But I agree, the personal mechs and airships from SL-TC are a bit more appealing to me.
