I just don't want to make one, I've been through it already and don't need to prove myself to anyone. though maybe it would be fun.
I'm just not going to be paying more than a couple times more than it should cost, depending on how long it would take me to make it myself and if I need it soon, which I don't. that's how I've lived my life, and I'm not gonna change it any time soon.
>plastic mold
pennies, not even. because they pump them out in millions and have a mold already.

child labor is pretty cheap

you love in a really weird and different world from mine.
in mine, I've been doing the same thing for decades with things from clothes to phones to I don't know what, with same logic and was never disappointed.
so i really don't know what you're doing, maybe you just have a massive skill issue with either picking out good products or making something yourself.
I think it's safe to say that we've cracked the code when we've been applying these principles for a good decade or more here. not sure what you've been doing other than just consooming.
again, why are you so upset? you want to buy a fancy premium thing, good for you, maybe I would too if I cared less and wasn't as principles but I just don't feel like it's worth the money for what it is.
I get wanting a tool that lasts you a lifetime, but again, even the simplest soldering iron will last you a lifetime, I literally have one older than me to prove it. not on hand, unfortunately but it was pretty wacky. looked like a pistol with a trigger. could probably pass it off as a starwars blaster.
