In the game of building, the most fun part is the building. The goals are fine but the most brain shaking part is simplicity in minimizing extra scaffolding, false works and machines and one has to do it in the right order. If you are doing it right, you can step on top of what is already build to build the next without it blocking the way.
A quicker game would focus on repair, redo as little as possible without collapse.
Then you have the demolition game, bring it down with as little as possible.
