Map design and terrain destruction. I know it's not a 1 to 1 comparison, but fool around with Rocket and his wall running in a few maps and I think you'll get what I mean, some maps and areas it can work really well, but because the terrain and shift a lot and just.. overall how a lot of the maps are generally being fairly open I don't feel a wall riding character would be able to make very good use of that ability during combat constantly, makinh a part of the kit not utilized too much and thus a bit redundant on a lot of maps. On OW you can make a TON of use of wall riding with Lucio pretty much constantly, at least from what I remember. I haven't played it in years though mind you, and I was more of a Zen and Mercy kinda guy when I played support.
