UNSC should have robotic troops that juxtapose the relative humanity in master chief. They would allow for friendly ai after the flood has taken over and the sentinels have turned on you. You should be able to issue simple commands since Cortana can control them. They could look like pic related but have their endoskeletons and red eyes revealed when their helmet and armor is shot off.
