The tutorial is actually pretty good for this game and will get you through the basics in about 30 minutes but one of the most important things to learn is setting manual priorities on your pawns. this will help you dictate what jobs your pawn will do so they don't waste time doing jobs they suck at. you can also set what hours your pawns will sleep, work, or play. Having pawns engage in recreation at the same time has a higher chance of socializing and mood buffs so I usually give them two hours in the morning before work.
