It just fits in with the miner theme of GSC, it can deepstrike and bring stuff out, and charge etc. The cult lacks big vehicles with Leman Russ and the rest being reduced to allied units that require their own detachment to run unlike it was in the previous editions where the tanks were in GSC's own roster.
