Imperial laser cannons and screeching wings saw an upper hand against the Covenant's mostly unshielded machinery. The Elsedda pattern Banshees were no match for their Imperial rivals. The Interceptor could make quick work of them with bursts of spitfire. The Seraph proved a more worthy match. A few Interceptors went down, but most could swerve away from the oncoming plasma.
