TOG Island Challenge Proposal
>however many we get is however many we get
>players all roll off to determine who loses using /tg/'s roll system, (dice+xd100) lowest rolls are booted out of the island
>rolls are earned by completing tasks by a certain time
>every thread, an island-specific draw challenge and 3-5 write tasks are posted
>any write task completed grants +2 rolls (at least one task needs to be completed to stay on the island)
>Draw tasks give +1 roll if it's your own character, +5 if it's of another (and you can draw multiple other OCs for lots of rolls)
>when the deadline is hit, rolls are tallied, and a ref can make the rolls, posting the thread as proof of legitimacy (if you guys decide to use most of my ruleset, I can do it and not participate to keep things fair)
>repeat task posted-task completed-dice rolloff cycle until game is complete
Troubleshooting:
>who stays on the island in the case that some people roll a bunch of 1s?
The one has participated in more tasks in that thread, followed by tasks in general, followed by who has more fanart of their characters
>What stops me from Ai-slopping or stickfiguring a bunch of random people and claiming they're my "artistic interpretation" of the other players for a bunch of rolls?
If 3 or more players (current or former) call your stuff a "rollwhore post" you get 1 roll max for being scummy
>couldn't people gang up up or samefag and exploit that rule?
By limiting the opinions to the players themselves, a lot of the manipulation opportunities disappear. You could, but your rep will stick with you in this general for such scummy moves. Also one might try and wait till all the other people have posted their tasks, then try and post a rollwhore post a minute before the deadline, but then it becomes obvious, and either the ref will make that call, or players will just hit all your next task posts with "rollwhore post" and take away your participation anyway.
Sound workable?
