Yeah it was a different vibe that lead into communities like counter strike/gmod. Long gone now. I feel like it rode parallel with the attitude of the younger internet in general.

I was dogshit at the actual PvP matches, just spent hundreds of hours in custom games. But from what I played I liked Undead. They were fairly noob friendly.
aoe4 interests me but I've been on a razor thin budget for a couple of years so it hasn't been a priority. Only reason I have aoe2 definitive is someone gifted it to me.
