Just as someone circumcised is going to have a psychologically harder time leaving the cult ("If Judaism isn't true than losing my foreskin was for nothing; I don't want to think about that!"), someone who's carried out oral suction circumcision is going to have an even harder time. The same is true for the parents, relatives, and other enablers.

Professional scammers and conmen use the same psychological technique. Once someone has bought in a little bit into the scam, the odds of them breaking out drop dramatically because they don't want to admit the loss.
