Our little firebase, trying to stay out of range of the lascannons and autocannons Iron Havocs, and hoping we can withstand the volkite culverin HSS with MoS support.

First turn though the IW plaer made a massive mistake and targeted the Deredeo with the culverins. I told the IH player he should return fire, so after taking a single wound from the culverins he blasted back and wiped out 7/10 of them with his maximal fire plasma.
This caused the IW player to immediately spiral. I've played this guy before, if something goes wrong he really easily loses morale and begins complaining a lot. It gets so bad that if you tell him "My X is shooting at your Y," he will just take models off without rolling, I constantly have to tell him to just cool his jets and see what the dice do. He will also lie about his rolls but not to cheat his opponent, but to prove that he really is super fucked and doomed. I watched him try and claim that he failed a leadership that he passed which I saw him roll right before my eyes. He kept saying "this is not fun for me," "I am not having any fun," but then kept playing. So he was really roleplaying an IW, truly. Peculiar and hilarious behavior but you'll have to take my word that he actually is a cool guy and good opponent despite all that that.

On our Turn 1, we finished off the culverin squad, my snipers killed the augry and sergeant in the lascannon squad which pinned them, and the MVP Deredeo used his aiolos to pin the autocannon Havocs, so it was pretty dire for the IW at that point.
