you can basically ignore it sure but if you want to visually stance your car out or change the way it behaves in corners you might want to play with it because it is a 100% real sim in that regard. however i didn't find the ai or the routes to be particularly tough or require any special tuning. i think you'd really only want to mess with it for drift events. i personally like to slide around all the time, it makes the game harder.

i also haven't played in a bit because every patch is like "yo here's 2 new cars and 5 new features also we broke some stuff lol" and the next patch is like "we fixt the broke stuff but also there is a new beta release with a new feature please test it" so i'm just kinda waiting for them to chill out a bit. these webms were from january. i will absolutely give them credit, they fix bugs fast and add features and cars people ask for on the community page, you can freely participate in the beta program, and the game runs pretty good in general.
