For the longest time I couldn’t imagine him as a dad. He seems too free spirited for a family. But the easter event in masters got me thinking more on the idea and now I can see it.
They gave him a literal baby(Togepi), he immediately consoles the little girl that lost her Eevee egg, promising to find it and redirects the entire event to do so, and he even gives a very fatherly speech to the Hoenn kids at the end about not having to have your life set so soon and to just enjoy being a kid. I always imagined he’s great with kids but seeing all that convinced me he’d be a great dad too. Just forget the fact he lost Togepi for a moment during the event lol

Also, a person’s favorite pokemon could say a lot about themselves. And since his favorite is Leavanny, a very nurturing and parental pokemon that loves taking care of young, there might be something there.
