been getting gateway errors too and now 4chanx extension is telling me the site thinks my reply is spam and to reformat it because I have tried to send it a few times. I'm removing the link to "tiktok tourettes" because maybe that link was triggering the "spam" response. hopefully this attempt works.
not just beliefs and attitudes can be shaped through culture, but also foundational skills and behaviors, like the ability to speak and communicate clearly. there's the recent-ish phenomenon of tiktok videos allegedly spreading tourette's which seems to me to be related to this overall topic, albeit perhaps unintentional.

if this kind of low-level (and by that I mean fundamental abilities of most developmentally normal humans, such as producing speech) behaviors can be altered, even inadvertently, by watching some tiktok idiots, who knows what other kinds of physiological and behavioral responses can be inculcated by individuals or groups with a clear purpose?

The infliction of trauma onto a person is one method that's used for fracturing someone's mind - which can then be rebuilt for someone else's purposes - but I don't know as much about that. on the societal level, traumas like september 11th allowed our dear leaders to ram through legislation that would've been hotly opposed otherwise (patriot act, NDAA, etc). once again it's aiming at changing peoples' thoughts by manipulating and attacking their emotions.
