Watching it is probably easier then reading so I built the list, here. The techs I could take out are Guardragon Cataclysm and Time Engine, but in this deck they should be easy to proc and destroy enemy cards.
That was mostly by issue with pure blue eyes, I couldn't do much to mess with the enemy board during my turn. Here the priority is to get some metalmorph monsters out, they all screw with the enemy moves, and they can be searched by nearly every other card.
Blue eyes / sage / maiden can likely still do their thing and birth me a synchro or just be tribute fodder for my other cards. There's so many red-eyes that Return of the red-eyes is a sensible choice and it could act as a 2nd true light (and darkness metal as a 3rd one), I don't think this conflicts with the blue eyes strategy
