All 3 of those are part of the orcs & goblin army, but both giants and ogres are notorious mercenaries and were available as such back then, it makes sense for them to become dogs of war units now and become available for others too.
but it might mean dogs of war are not getting the ALBION giants.
perhaps they could be reserved for an albion themed arcane journal that adds these, the truthsayers, the dark emissaries, the fenbeasts, the fimir and belakor.
