Not sure where to start, I’ve liked him for quite some time…

Of the fictional character crushes I’ve developed over the years, the majority of them are broody blonds so he was never safe lol

I think it’s also because I see parallels between us; goes all in on what he’s passionate about, be it his gym or electric type Pokemon and he’s smart enough to cover his weaknesses in order to do that (he uses part flying types as well as grass and water type moves to combat his one type weakness while still showing mastery of his favorite type), he enjoys his tinkering, seems extremely intelligent yet depressed but people still think he’s top of his game. I find him relatable… I’m a Pokemon-loving curious scientist/engineer and I’ve had my share of struggles with depression and imposter syndrome. Not sure how to describe it accurately but he holds a special place in my heart <3
