Okay well Sonic Heroes was both developed and came out long after 9/11 and that game is peak soul even though it's not a very good game. People seem to remember the 2000s only for the war on terror and recession while ignoring that the 2000s was a lot more similar to the 90s than it was to the 2010s because it was mostly pre-iPhone. Even 2009 felt more like 1999 than it did 2019.
