previously you could find otaku if you went to otaku spaces, now every space dedicated to some previously otaku-exclusive franchise (most obviously touhou) is filled by what was once called tourists, dear summer children, newfags....no, who am I kidding, newfags were people like me who joined the fanbase around 2010, now I am one of the last surviving ancients
