I find these threads exhausting because it seems no one here is even aware that Square puts out a lot of turn based classic RPGs throughout the year. People just screech about Rebirth or Forspoken, but ignore games like Star Ocean, the Romancing Saga remakes, Octopath, Visions of Mana, Fantasian and their smaller and not always great games like Diofield Chronicles or Harvestella.

I dunno, it's just annoying seeing people shit on Square when they put out more games than a lot of their competition. Someone brought up Atlas and what games have they released in the last 5 years? Metaphor and SMTV? That's it. Square may not always put out a 10/10 game, but they are constantly releasing fun and creative JRPGs and I think it would be a real loss if they actually went bankrupt.
