To be honest, yeah something like that. The chosen god candidate was already a mentally unwell suicidal kid so him killing himself wasn't a shock. The planet being doomed is a big thing but i couldn't care less because noone lived there that i cared about. Also an ending where everyone dies i feel isn't that special no matter how many pages/chapters we spent on them. Maybe the story just brunt me out but i could barely give a shit about this ending.
