hmm... two tamers.....
lets assume one does the stallion episodes, one does the mare episodes (trixie plots). There's a couple mane6 SoL episodes that are a little ambiguous for who did it, but for every plot episode its easy to tell
what are the other differences?
>mare tamers is the only one to touch flawless, stallion tamers is the only one to touch soarin offspring
>stallion tamers does a lot more relationship drama, mare tamers is just horny for twixie
>they both do a wide variety of art styles, but for the "funny" frames, stallion tamers does a lot of "real horse" drawings, mare tamers does a lot more cute lil' blobs
>i think almost all the times ponies are drawn fluffy is by mare tamers. You could probably analyze a bunch of twilight frames to find other art style trends
>mare tamers stories fit into seasons that end with DoTS and DoTL. Its harder to fit the stallion story into seasons
i would have to go through every episode again, but I think they have separate mane6 ships.

>mare tamers ships twixie, rarity x AJ, and one sided dash x twilight

conclusions:
>arinos and flawless will never meet
>rarity x twilight can't happen, because it would be a stallion tamers episode, but that episode would have to involve twixie
>apple split and twilight are both the main characters, because its two seperate shows
