Why is Subaru still such an incompetent bitch years later?
Like in all other Groundhog Day stories, the protagonist start out like cowardly assholes, but eventually they become proficient in combat or just stop fearing death.
Like the dude has literally the immortality cheat skill, and the writer has confirmed that no matter how many years pass in the If stories he just goes back to his previous checkpoint.
So why didn't he spent decades learning useful shit in each loop, take Rem or another chick with him to fuck and learn how to fight or negociate, etc?
He doesn't need to be OP or fucking John Wick, but at least don't be such a fucking useless coward.
