What a stupid era of warfare. Thank god rifles and guerrilla tactics nipped this in the bud before it returned in a fashion in WW1.
All my poor SeasideSOLDIERS standing in a line like a bunch of lemons waiting for the next wave of volleyed fire to grant them unceremonious deaths. Life for the infantryman has gotten worse with every era of warfare.
