The seafront park in Muar is top notch. No beaches here, rather a river mouth with a coastal band of mangrove forest. Lay down on the wooden platform and listen to the waves splash as the warm night breeze blows. The only background noise a distant muezzin. 31 years old today, and no richer than I was at 25. But I feel a whole lot more free.
