Okay so I thought this one would be more DMC-like but it's actually a mash a trigger to attack, occasionally shoot with controller aim, spam the dodge button, and press X to awesome (sword slash edition).
I didn't die once during the demo and that's probably due to abusing the spammable dodge. It has an upgrade system and what looks like tiers of weapons with levels to swap out in and out of in addition to a levelling system for upping damage from the mentioned damage types. Very disappointing gameplay from the demo but it could get better with more upgrades, and the frozen-over underwater world is interesting enough despite the bombardment of dialog.
