Are there any deconstruction NTR?

Recently read a work that I can’t remember the name about some college girl choosing playboys/badboys over her highschool male friend because the FMC thinks he’s “too safe”, or “vanilla” for her taste, much to her detriment since the playboy/badboys she dated didn’t really care about her and some of them were abusive, another aspect was that they only cared about sex and nothing more. Pretty much, every time she tried to make an emotional connection with them she would get burnt, or worse, find out they were seeing other women, which humiliated her in front of her friends.

Story basically ends after 3 years going back to her highschool friend, only to find out he’s dating one of the girls of the popular clique for a year-and-half now with the implication from his GF being that the guy could/would have fulfilled her kinks had she ask, and the FMC ends up sitting alone.
