The eye and hair colors are probably pretty close to the cover because Fujimoto has used that trick for other covers too, where the color filter roughly matches the eye/hair. A bit lighter shade maybe.
It'd still be nice to have more colored art on these characters. Fujimoto generally does a good job with it, even if he catches a lot of crap for his artistic ability.
